Alright it’s been a busy few days…so here we go

Friday night a bunch of us went out to celebrate two important events. ellisons 25th birthday and kims going away to taiwan party!! We met up at Gaam in LA where we enjoyed drinks, onion rings and cheesecorn….YUP cheese corn! kim was very excited about the cheese corn.

After dinner and drinks we went to DING DONG DONG!!! what is ding dong dong you ask??? Karaoke baby!!! Oh it was a blast!! Great job singing everyone. glenna, kim, amanda, ellen, allyson, lisa, richard, justin, peter, bryan and ellison. you guys are all american idols in my mind! We spent a good 3 hours singing our hearts out. I don’t think i got home until 6AM!!! man i felt like i was 19 again =D

Sunday was superbowl XLV. Thanks to erin and donn for hosting a nice super bowl party. Im glad there were no party poopers at the party…everyone there was rooting for the packers, or at least pretending to root for the packers. Congrats on winning donn.

Im an uncle!!! or at least des calls me uncle dillon. I would like to introduce everyone to the newest member for the go family. Claudel and des got a new dog! It’s a french bulldog. Everyone say hello to Worthy.

Tonight Gloria, Glenna, Mike and i decided to represent MAN and conquer! We went to El Tepeyac in LA and decided to try the ‘Manuel Special.’ It’s a 5 pound burrito that was featured on an episode of Man VS. Food. Now of course on the episode the host Adam Richman finished the burrito on his own, but we decided that we’re all not that crazy. So we decided to split the burrito 4 ways and we finished it in like 15 minutes. NO LIE!!! Man vs Food….and MAN WON! Oh and by the way, the burrito was the length of my forearm!

Its been almost a week now since i’ve bought the Mumford and Sons album and its pretty much all ive been listening to. I really like their sound and even though its not what i normally listen to, i can’t get enough of it. Glenna thinks they sound country, but she hasn’t really listened to them, and if she did she would realize they don’t really sound like country. Throughout this week Glenna has been butching their name. I’ve heard her call them ‘mumbum and gums’, ‘mulloland drive’, ‘my hump my hump’, ‘mumgum and dum’ etc etc. The other day i really wanted her to get their name right, but she wouldn’t say it and kept butchering it. So guess what i decided to do, i said if you get their name correctly, i’ll buy you jamba juice. I did this with the hope that she would want to learn their name. Well the joke was on me, because once i made her the offer, she yelled out “MUMFORD AND SONS” I guess she does pay attention to the things i like =D

I became a Los Angeles Lakers fan during the 94-95 season. That means ive been a devoted follower for the last 17 years. So ive decided to compile a list of MY favorite 15 lakers since 1994. Each post i will countdown from 15 all the way down to number 1 (Im pretty sure #1 will be of no surprise to anyone). Just as a warning, since i became a laker fan in 1994, don’t expect to see the likes of Magic Johnson (even though he played for them in 1996) or jerry west, michael cooper, kareem abdul jabar, byron scott, james worthy or wilt chamberlan. Although i’m pretty sure they were all GREAT, i never had to pleasure to watch them play (except for magic and even that was only for 1 season). So this list will comprise of those i had the honor to follow. One more note, i’ve decided to only include Lakers who were on the team for more than one season. So even though i would have loved to put hall of fame players like Gary Payton, Karl Malone and Dennis Rodman, because they only played one season with the lakers, they couldn’t make the cut. So here we go

15 Greatest Lakers of MY time

15: Rick Fox

NUMBER 14:

SEDALE THREATT
5 seasons with Lakers (91-92 – 95-96)
386 games
4594 points
11.9 ppg
.487 fg%

Lets just say when Magic left the Lakers, Sedale was their go to guy. 5 seasons with the lakers and he shot just under 50% from the field. Now that’s just impressive!

Currently listening to: Mumford and Sons
Currently watching: 24 season 7
Currently digging: the anticipation of fantasy baseball
