Now on a side note, here are my favorite 10 movies of 2010. I have always said my movie list is bias, because I only base it on the movies that I saw last year. There were plenty of ‘good’ or ‘great’ movies that are oscar worthy, however if I didn’t see it, it can’t qualify. So I apologize if you don’t see ‘black swan’ or ‘social network’ or ’127 hours’ on my list. Having said that, here is my list

dylon’s TOP 10 MOVIES of 2010

10.) The Expendables – This movie didnt’ have the best story line…actually the story line sucked. Did i mention the acting wasn’t that great either? but WHO CARES?!?!? Have you seen who’s in this movie? This is a MAN’s movie! There is soooo much ASS kicking, gun SHOOTING, building BLOWING and BULDGING biceps in this movie, that i had to at least give it the ’10′ spot.

09.) The Karate Kid – Having been around the original karate kid, i didn’t really think i would enjoy the remake. It was however a very well made remake…maybe because it wasn’t really ‘re-made.’ It had it’s own story line which was nice. And it’s nice that the karate kid was taught…’kung fu’ (“I’ll teach you real kung fu” -Jackie Chan)

08.) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World – This movie was weird…strange…but awesome! I think everyone should see this movie just because it’s so different. The movie is based on a graphic novel, and like ‘sim city’ when you’re watching it, it’s like you’re watching a live comic book. Sounds like crap?? take a look and i’m pretty sure you’ll appreciate it.

07.) Despicable Me – Glenna and i were minions for halloween…enough said =D

06.) Kick Ass – This is not your typical comic book movie. Costumes? Check! Bad Guys? Check! Trying to win the girl? Check! BLOOD??? and lots of it??? CHECK! I LOVED this movie because it was a comic book movie with blood and gore! It definately met up to it’s rated R ratings. Plus Hit Girl kicks ASS

05.) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 – This was only part 1??? I can’t wait till part 2!!!! It’ll be a beautiful end to a beautiful series

04.) Shutter Island – Im not a big fan of ‘scary’ movies. So good thing this movie wasn’t scary =D. It was a great suspenseful movie that had you guessing till the end. I actually didn’t see it coming, and i didn’t really know what to expect. I think that’s the best part! Then after seeing the end, i watched it again and it all made sense.

03.) Toy Story 3 – What an end to an amazing trilogy. Pixars Toy Story started it all in computer animation…and 15 years later they still got it! This movie was so touching (both the girls next to me were crying) that it made me tear…excellent film!

02.) The Town – I really wanted to see this movie in theatres and unfortunately never got the chance. But great things come to those who wait right? Well this movie was GREAT and i waited!!! It was one of those movies where you actually root for the bad guys. From the beginning to the end…that’s exactly who i rooted for. Never the po-po

01.) Inception – I believe this is a no-brainer!!! I am putting this movie up on my list, along with the likes of Avatar, The Rock, Independence Day, The Last Samurai and Saving Private Ryan. I saw inception once in theatres…and i believe 4 times on blu ray till this day. Christopher Nolan has made a masterpiece!

Thanks for viewing everyone!
